Job Description

We're supporting a well-established organisation in their search for a Health, Safety & Compliance Manager to join their Property Services team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced health, safety, and compliance professional to take ownership of compliance programmes across a diverse property portfolio. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring statutory compliance, managing contractor performance, developing compliance strategies, and driving a positive safety culture across the organisation.

Core Duties:

  • Leading health, safety, and property compliance activities across the organisation
  • Managing servicing and inspection programmes covering gas, electrical, water, asbestos, fire safety, lifting equipment, and related compliance areas
  • Acting as the lead for building safety management and maintaining compliance records and audit trails
  • Managing compliance contracts, service providers, and contractor performance
  • Producing and presenting compliance KPI reports, performance data, and improvement plans
  • Overseeing compliance systems to ensure data accuracy and reporting integrity
  • Supporting audits, inspections, risk management activities, and policy development
  • Managing compliance budgets and ensuring value for money across all compliance functions
  • Leading and developing compliance team members while supporting wider organisational objectives
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, compliance, and customer outcomes
About You:

  • Experience in a health & safety, compliance, property compliance, or facilities-related management role
  • Strong understanding of compliance management within a regulated environment
  • Experience managing contractor relationships, servicing programmes, and performance frameworks
  • Knowledge of health & safety legislation and best practice
  • Experience producing KPI reports and using data to drive improvements
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
  • A recognised health & safety qualification or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience within property, housing, facilities management, or asset management environments would be advantageous
  • NEBOSH, IOSH, or management qualifications would be beneficial
