What will the HR Advisor role involve?
- Providing proactive HR advice and guidance to managers and employees across a range of HR matters while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies
- Supporting employee relations casework, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management and performance-related matters
- Managing recruitment and onboarding activities, helping to deliver a positive candidate and new starter experience
- Coordinating employee benefits administration, including annual renewals and liaison with external providers and brokers
- Assisting with HR projects, policy reviews, process improvements and learning and development initiatives
- Maintaining accurate HR records and supporting the delivery of key people-related reporting
Suitable Candidate for the HR Advisor vacancy:
- Previous experience within a generalist HR position, ideally at HR Advisor level
- CIPD Level 3 qualified, studying towards Level 5, or equivalent practical experience
- Sound understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to build relationships across all levels of the business
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive, positive and solutions-focused approach
