Are you an organised and proactive finance professional looking for a varied part-time role within a friendly, collaborative business?This business are seeking a Finance Administrator to join a small and supportive finance team. This is a hands-on position offering a broad range of responsibilities across accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, reporting, and general business administration.You'll play a key role in supporting day-to-day financial operations, ensuring transactions are processed accurately and efficiently while helping maintain strong financial controls.Key responsibilities include:

• Processing and managing supplier invoices
• Maintaining purchase and sales ledgers
• Supporting credit control activities and chasing outstanding payments
• Performing bank and credit card reconciliations
• Allocating receipts and processing journals
• Assisting with month-end reconciliations and reporting
• Supporting audit requirements and financial record keeping
• Liaising with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve finance queries
• Supporting process improvements and wider administrative tasks

What you'll need to succeed
We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a varied role and takes pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work.
You'll ideally have:

• Experience in an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant or Finance Administrator position
• Knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Good Excel skills
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
• The ability to manage workloads independently and prioritise effectively
• Experience using finance systems such as Xero or similar accounting software would be advantageous.
